Palmerston Modern New Build

Having lived in an older home in a neighbourhood they love for many years, these homeowners decided to start fresh with a brand-new build on the same property. With a 180-degree view of the ocean and the city lights beyond, the clients knew they already had the perfect location, and now they could create a home to match—one that would look and function exactly as they dreamed. With the architectural plans in place, we tweaked and refined the floor plans to ease tight spaces, enhance the architecture, and make further adjustments to bring the clients’ wishes to life.

Using a quiet palette of whites and taupes, we let the clean lines of the architecture set the stage for beautifully simple furniture and provide a subtle backdrop for future additions of art. We merged the interior design with the architecture through the installation of an artistic floating entry ledge, see-through cabinets that connect the office and living, and a more casual workspace integrated into the lower-floor stairs.

“At a time when the world shut down, there was no better person to navigate the daunting selection process required during house building then Lindsay Eby. Her determination and grit to make it all happen despite the weirdest of times was amazing. She knew what I liked and came through every time with the perfect concept. She instilled confidence in me to make the right choices. She made all the hard work fun and that made a huge difference to the entire process

Thank you Lindsay, my dream home is now a reality.”
