Barclay Street Condo
Our Barclay Street Condo embodies a fusion of minimalist and modernist design. With meticulous attention to detail, this is space where clean lines and contemporary living converge.
The kitchen showcases an adjustable height charcoal filtering range hood, allowing for an open view between the kitchen and living room. The marble mosaic backsplash, with its natural edges and handcrafted texture, adds a touch of artisanal charm. Painted and back-painted glass doors, along with a beautifully mitred & fitted Caesarstone countertop, create a stylish and functional workspace. A cleverly clad column, adorned in vertical oak slats, discreetly conceals a non-relocatable vent, harmoniously blending form and function.
In the dining room we wanted to continue with the vertical slat detail on the floating credenza & were lucky enough to find a stunning piece of natural quartzite at our fabricators to complete the piece.
We preserved the wood-burning fireplace in the living room, revamping it with an updated mantle, surround, and hearth. Additionally, an extra deep custom window bench seat maximizes space and provides a cozy nook to enjoy the view.
In the powder room, we embraced simplicity by opting for a cylindrical pedestal sink and a custom round medicine cabinet, achieving a sleek and efficient design.
The well appointed master bathroom is stunning with floor-to-ceiling large-scale porcelain tiles and clean, solid surface shower base. The angled walls presented an opportunity to create some interesting geometry with its triangular-shaped ledge, adding a distinct touch to the space. Thoughtfully integrated lighting, such as a shower strip and built-in cabinet lighting, ensures both functionality and ambiance.
